Elsa Butler is a multimedia student at the
Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Her recent
work can be found on NYC24.com, National Public Radio
and WNBC.com.

Elsa has worked as a reporter for Reuters, California’s
Marin Independent Journal, Condé Nast Traveller, South Africa’s
Cape Argus
, the arts and culture Website Flavorpill, and most
recently, NPR’s morning radio show, The Bryant Park Project.
She is working at The New York Times tv/video department for
the summer of 2008.

She has covered technology, breaking news, music, performing
arts, international sailing and performing arts. Elsa graduated
from Colorado College in 1998 with a B.A. in English
and Creative Writing

In her spare time, Elsa trains with her Australian Shepherd,
Addie, for sheep herding trials.
